NBA community intensify Tweets, hit the frontlines of George Floyd protests hard.

NBA players hit the frontlines in the fight against police brutality and #JusticeforGeorgeFloyd. They also intensified their social media messages. 

Boston Celtics player Jaylen Brown, who has been very vocal throughout these five historical, violent, necessary, and purposeful days of national and global protest, drove 15 hours to his home state of Georgia to protest George Floyd’s death. 

Pacers guard Malcolm Brogdon was also a member of that particular protest. 76ers forward Tobias Harris was part of a protest in downtown Philadelphia.

 While Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and some Maverick players attended a protest in Dallas. 

Former Miami Heat player Udonis Haslem addressed some people in Miami. 

Even Michael Jordan, fresh off the success and critical acclaim of “The Last Dance” and often criticized for his lack of social activism during his career, made a public statement on the George Floyd murder.

We need to continue peaceful expressions against injustice…, ” said The GOAT.
